Databricks Mosaic AI: Full-Stack AI Platform for Enterprise Data Teams

Databricks announced a major expansion of Mosaic AI, its platform for enterprise AI development. New features include: Mosaic AI Model Training (fine-tuning on proprietary data without data leaving the Databricks environment), Vector Search for RAG applications, AI Gateway for model governance and cost management, and Agent Framework for building production AI agents. The platform addresses enterprise concerns about data privacy by enabling the full AI development lifecycle within existing Databricks data infrastructure. 3,000+ enterprise customers are now using Mosaic AI features. Databricks reports that customers using Mosaic AI have 60% lower total cost compared to separate AI infrastructure.
